I liked watching it - but agree, too many chance games. But a quick fun watch. The beginning , getting shot, was just silly.
Yeah, but that's what the drama was, getting shot. Not "okay walk through this door with these henchman and do a little twirl and give your peace signs".
I'm happy with the outcome. This was a fun watch. I'm a fan of drama so I hope we get more of that Ashley not being a team player stuff next season. Cast more 432/Bryton types. Heh. Not if Johnny Bananas has any say
Doesn’t seem that outrageous. It would be a pretty big giveaway if one player returned and was instantly spending like they had $4.6 million of new money. All the articles about this are absolutely clickbait.
Definitely agree that the articles are likely clickbait. I doubt they'd cut them a check for the entire amount at once, but it still seems like the winner would at least have gotten an annuity payment or two by now. Pretty sure if you hit the lotto, you'd be getting some money within a couple months.
Yeah I read an article about that too. Clickbait. Someone who worked on the show said Mai signed papers saying she wouldn't be getting paid until the finale aired.
TIL you can apply to be on the next series here: Squid Game: The Challenge Casting Sorry if this is old news.
I see why Fincher would be interested in it, but I'd really rather see him direct a couple episodes of season two than remake something so recent.
Id be okay with him, in correspondence with the original creators, doing a sequel together and making it huge.... but a remake? Thats lame
Pretty sure it has nothing to do with “letting” him do Mindhunter. The show had too many things going against it and he made the final decision that it was over. Netflix has probably been begging him to go back it now that it’s been 5 years and they’ve built up this demand for it.
