Just finished the marbles episode. That was wild but the tug of war was the most anxious I’ve felt watching Tv in a long time, if ever. I’m not strong, I don’t like heights, that would have been it for me lol
I don’t know how I feel about the ending. I know I loved the series though. Consistently good and emotional show. And one of the best first episodes I’ve seen in a while.
lol the old man dying in the marbles episode was the first time I have cried over a tv show / movie in a really, really long time. then it turns out he was the one behind everything. damn.
Started this last week because of the hype and knew nothing about it, saw an article suggesting fans check out Battle Royale as a reference. Watched and finished the last three episodes today and damn, I’ve gotten hooked. So tense and sadistic.
This show is extremely wild. Just finished it and wow A LOT happened in those last thirty minutes I DID NOT see coming. Man, what an emotional journey haha. on the unsent texts discussion, I think the emotional justification of that whole plotline is learning the dude in the black mask is the officer’s brother. What ends up happening does suck though bc I would’ve loved to see that play out.

The biggest surprise for me was seeing Lee Byung-hun, why you’d want to cover that face for 8 episodes is wild. ]
Just finished this. Had a lot of people recommend it, started with the dubbing and gave up. Came back to it a few weeks later and watched in Korean with subtitles, that was much, much easier to watch. Really liked the last couple of episodes as the tension was building. Had no idea there was a season 2, would almost prefer it was one and done
No season 2 confirmed but the creator basically said he had no plans to continue it until it got super popular and is now working on it...which isn't ideal.
but also he didn't get paid much for this despite it becoming a massive hit so fuck yeah get paid my dude
Squid Game season 2 "talk" confirmed by creator Sounds like he's debating on doing this or doing a film idea he has.
I remember hearing he got knocked back for 10 years on this project, it becomes the biggest show worldwide and he doesn't get paid for it. Bummer I vote one and done (On the proviso he can make some cash in other ways on the back of it)
This new South Korean show on Netflix called "Hellbound" looks just as wild as Squid game - out November 19th
