My mom does the shots and has been doing it for probably 20 years now. My parents have been encouraging me to do that as well for the last several years, but honestly, at this point, I'm used to it that it's just life and I deal with it.
That's kinda my feeling on it. Does she still experience stuffiness and sneezing? I'm guessing the 20yrs means the yearly boost or whatever?
I have fall seasonal allergies, ragweed and what not. I just use target brand allergy medication and it is comparable to Allegra.
I think she gets them every few months or something. Honestly don't know much about it. I think she's still miserable from allergies too, so not sure if it's working, haha.
Fuck allergies, I’m a sneezing wreck all spring long. Used to get shots as a kid but they didn’t seem to do much. The first week of spring is fun until things start to bloom at which point I wish I could lock myself in a bunker until fall.
I was going to post the other day how I was doing so good this year (glad I didn't) because then there was today. I'll either be asleep by 5pm, or having every-so-slight early stage trippin' sensations if I fight the drowsiness.
I usually get them bad right around mid May every year. So far it has been delayed, probably because I’m barely venturing outside hah
Allergies have really been fucking with my sleep the past week. I haven’t been sneezing too much luckily aside from a few fits but the congestion is making it impossible to sleep.
waking up (if you get to sleep) after a night of congestion induced mouth-breathing is absolutely disgusting. it's really nice having to eat at home. i can eat alone and be gross, chew with my mouth open and not have to make the decision between breathing or manners.
My allergies have been so bad recently I’m lucky to get 3 hours of sleep a night and it doesn’t help that it’s warm out and my AC doesn’t seem to be working. I hate this.
