Has anybody ever used Show.co to promote their music on Spotify? I just saw an ad for their service, was wondering if anybody had any opinions on it
I don't really know where to post this, but I signed up for the free tier of Deezer, a French streaming service, because I wanted to listen to one of their exclusive podcasts. It's a pretty nice app. As far as I understand it they also have a more artist-friendly payout system.
My music is on Deezer but I've never actually gone on the site. Interesting about the payout, I didn't know that.
I have a subscription so I’m not sure if this article is freely accessible, but they explain the differences here: The economics of streaming is changing pop songs
I’m not sure if the problem is Spotify, my Bluetooth in my car or the new Apple update but the last few days I’ll be listening to Spotify in my car and randomly Spotify will just either shut off or switch to a random song that I don’t even have saved or downloaded (almost always a song that I’ve never even heard of). anyone else experiencing this? My iPhone updated to the new iOS last week and that’s kind of when I started to notice it.
Hey guys, I’ve recently been tracking my music listening over the last few months using this new web app I came across called Soundpruf and it’s actually really dope. If you’re into your Spotify Wrapped every year - it’s sorta like that but dynamic/every day. It makes it almost like a game by giving you badges for being the top listener for a specific artist and things like that and I’ve been using it a lot recently to find new music too since you can see what others are listening to (see pics). I put a link to it below if anyone else wants to check it out! live.soundpruf.com
Spotify Wrapped 2019 is up. Loved this years presentation of the stats. Not many surprises in mine. JEW were the most played for the second year running, haha.
I also like how the 2019 playlist is actually your most played songs for the first time, as opposed to the usual 3 songs per album limit that they do
What I learned from this is that Spotify labels R&B as Pop, because I listened to very little of what I would call Pop but to a lot of R&B
