    Spotify has reportedly reached the 60 million paid subscriber mark:


    Spotify now has 60 million paying subscribers, adding 10 million subscribers in less than five months, a spokeswoman for the music streaming company said on Monday.

    I became a subscriber thanks to that $1 deal for 3 months of access. I wonder how many subscribers they got as a result of that deal. Not sure if I'll stay on after the 3 months, but it has been nice not being limited by ads.

    I'm in the same boat. Never had given much thought to it, but that deal seemed too good to pass up. Now that I've tried it, I'll continue paying, especially given how much I use it at work.

    thought about it, but decided to wait until my Apple Music sub was done the next week, and then the promo was gone.
    still went premium, though.
