Was able to look up my Pokémon grades, got two 8's, ten 9's and Eevee was the only 10. The holos were all 9's. PSA values are 429 for the Eevee, 226 for Jolteon and 169 for Vaporeon. Thought some of those cards would do better but grading was worth it anyways
I picked up my cards, just FYI I imagine people are cognizant of their card values, but do not trade or cash in your cards at Gamestop. My PSA estimates which are pretty spot on with ebay were almost 1400. I'm keeping my cards but asked for credit values just to see, and it was 35% of the value lol. I've seen a couple Gamestop posts this week of people getting 10k and 4500 cash for their cards, but that's serious propaganda lol
Sam's Prismatic drop tomorrow then my local shop got all their Ascended Heroes and are doing basically ~$5 over MSRP for everything so I am definitely hitting that up
Hit up the supremely smooth Sam's Club drop this morning with my kid, got our boxes, and still made it to school for him before drop-off at 835. We're opening the packs after school today.

I'm jealous - I am lucky enough to live near two game stores (one does card stuff exclusively, the other does a little bit with lots of board games and miniature stuff), and they do around, if not a little bit above, market price.

ya usually most of the stores are like that, but on release days this one does a big event and tries to stay as close to MSRP as possible. I refuse to buy sealed product thats high, usually I just buy singles if I can't hit at Walmart/Target/Best Buy/vending machine. also, Fred Johnson from the Eagles was there lol I saw him on my way out
I'm doing great with hangers lately. Burns #'d to 250 and Cruz #'d 25. About 15 and 40 bucks. The Cruz is 1 in 9,368 hangers wtf lol
Timely post. I bought two packs of Magic cards over the weekend on a whim after years of not playing the game physically.
Mega Greninja looks pretty dope. Kinda hoping for a more quiet couple of sets after Ascended Heroes. I still have yet to see a single pack on shelves in stores, but have seen a fuck ton of Knockout Packs, Phantasmal Flames, and Mega Evolutions stuff. I'm also planning on hitting the Black Bolt/White Flare Sam's Club drop on the 24th because I haven't had too much luck finding that set so it'll be nice to finally get my hands on a lot of it for a good price.
well, AH is a special set (ala 151 and Prismatic), so there won't ever be single packs or single sleeved packs in stores. The booster bundles for AH release in late April, too.
