saving for a hobby box of bowman when it comes out is my new goal now hopefully the price isn’t crazy
After I picked up all those Judge Chrome refractors, I got the urge to collect some of my UConn guys so I got these and I have some Donovan Clingan cards coming
are you a fan of short prints at all? I’ve got a bit of a Kris Bryant SP collection from the topps flagship releases, think I’m only missing a couple (mostly SSPs as they’re obviously harder to get/more expensive)
I should start collecting some random dodgers auto that are probably mad cheap like maybe a Bobby miller or a Alex Vesia
Short prints are awesome. I have these that I'll get graded soon. The one in the middle is a missing auto error that I haven't even seen sold since I bought that for 50 bucks his rookie year. Not even sure if it would get graded lol I can't find any info
I love my Betances collection even though he only had like four good years. He was my favorite Yankee those years though. And pitchers are usually cheaper to collect
im generally trying to think of who I would even want to collect that isn’t a bigger name now shoot maybe walker buehler
Yeah there were actually quite a few right when that set came out of a bunch of players. But I can't find out anything now lol. There's like one random forum post about them. So it probably falls in like the SSP category
Started selling my One Piece singles from when I was ripping OP-11 because I couldn't find Pokemon Some cards I've had have 4x'd from where they were a few months ago as some people from Pokemon have shifted to OP
I should have stock piled the one piece when it was sitting at my local stores the months people were clearing out the pokemon lmao I didn’t think it explode cause people said it wasn’t worth it at first.
I was able to score 2 each of the Ascended Heroes and Perfect Order ETBs from PKC should I keep one sealed and rip one? I am not good as a sealed collector lmao
I admire people who manage to keep anything sealed. 2018 Topps Update baseball hangers go for 250 bucks cause of Ohtani lol
As someone who has collected one piece since OP6 I’m extremely frustrated with how many people came into the market recently just to flip product. Haven’t seen anything from the last two sets in stores at all.
Unless you want the stamped promo, I don't think it's worth IMO. Either hold long term or sell/buy a regular ETB and pocket the rest. It's dumb but you can't lose money with PKC ETBs Even regular ETBs, it's the only sealed product I collect (non-PKC) and I still rip my fair share and definitely regret it long-term. The amount of Hidden Fates, Celebrations, and 151 ETBs I opened is sickening when I compare market prices now lol
if you ever need me to grab some single packs or whatever let me know. I still usually catch single packs out at target and such
man my Best Buy had a re-stock this AM, so I got there a bit early before open. Line already formed, which is fine/expected, but there are people with empty chairs/holding spots for their buddies that showed up like 10 minutes before the store opened. I found out that one or two of the local card shops pay their employees to get on line and buy the product so that they can re-sell for profit, and that is so fuckin shitty.
Holy SHIT! I gave my wife ONE pack to open from my poster collection, and look what the hell she pulled! A demi god pack lmao
I bought another value box of the archive set just for rips and it’s such a pretty set. I also got a Roki Sasaki like side card so I’m pretty happy with that
