I saw the mlb archives set today in lids and I had to tell myself no

 

I bought an Archives blaster yesterday cause I never had. I think I like the retro designs in this better than Heritage but as is usual, the blaster stunk. One and done lol

 

I checked the chances of getting a dodgers auto in the archive checklist and the it was like 1 in every 5k pack

yeah I’m good lol

 

I've been watching a few vids of people opening their 600 dollar boxes of Topps Chrome basketball and good god it is bad. The hobby is really starting to feel gross

Took one shot at a blaster, at least I got a 30 dollar Edgecombe so it felt worth it lol

 

I went to go visit my aunt and she lives about 30 minutes from me and she has a sneaky cool GameStop that usually has good stock for cards.

I go to it today and find out they are closing down in a few days and they sent all the cards back to GameStop warehouses and a huge bummer.

it looks like GameStop is closing down a ton of stores so that sucks.

 

Looked at that closing list on reddit and I'm glad mine isn't on there. Idk how much that would fuck up my PSA orders if that happened

 

bought a value box of the archives set at my local GameStop cause I had some extra Christmas money. the cards felt good and great pictures but I just knew I wasn’t going to hit so it all felt meh.

I barely even got any dodgers players to add to the collection either lol

 

I like the designs they use in those better than Heritage but yeah that's how I felt too lol

 

I was going through a pack and I pulled a Joey Votto card and I’m like what are we doing here

 

just pre-ordered the new Pokemon set RIP my credit card in March

 

My CVS got a decent card section finally, but I wanted to barf at the thought of opening another Topps product. So I jumped in the Pokémon pool

 

This was the best stuff I pulled from ten packs. Fun ripping

also those Bob Ross cards look sick, didn’t know that was a release

 

You didn't know about those? Yeah they look awesome. Def the best baseball release last year
