"Wild" is soooo good, that chorus is absolute money. played it 5-6 times yesterday and I'm still not tired of it
Oddly enough the only Spoon record I don’t have on vinyl is my favorite, Kill the Moonlight. If anyone could track me down a copy of the 2020 Slay on Cue version I would be grateful. Seems to be sold out everywhere.
Looks like Rough Trade still has some too! But that’s the only only retailer I’ve seen with them. edit: got one
made myself a Spoon driving playlist for a drive today and uhh... it's just this album, all of They Want My Soul and You Got Yr Cherry Bomb. I have no regrets
Okay so I guess I've been living under a rock for along time but I heard Inside Out for what I think was first time. Holy shit, what a bop. Somehow I avoided listening to Spoon much except for a handful of songs on my ipod off video games. They Want My Soul has been great, and Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga goes down so easily. Endlessly replayable.
Spoon leading off this album with a Bill Callahan cover is one of the best things to happen so far this year.
Ok Held might be my fav track on here. Love that little sound they put in the bridge that sounds like a jet after singing about jet's flying in the first verse.
the sets they are playing on this tour are exceptional. They killed it in Milwaukee last night. fitted shirt was an easy/surprising highlight
they were awesome last night was originally gonna see them on Thursday night but they had to cancel/reschedule bc britt was having vocal issues -- sounded fantastic last night tho they opened the encore w "the mystery zone" which they haven't played since the transference tour!
