Love all 3 songs and can't wait to listen to this. "The Hardest Cut" still rips, I just wish the solo was longer.
I can see myself listening to this once for the first time tomorrow & buying tix for multiple shows after loving it
About two thirds of the way through this and this has been so good. I love The Devil & Mister Jones and Feels Alright
Britt Daniel maybe one of the most underrated frontmen ever. Dude is a natural, thoroughbred rock god. This album fucking rules.
I simultaneously can't believe how good this is but also absolutely expected nothing but greatness. They sound possessed on Held.
Britt is so good with lines that are both cryptic yet descript. "He smells like the inside of closets upstairs" "Some people are so easily shuffled and dealt" "Do you wanna get understood?" "World Wars in my mind" "I got on fine with modern living but must I be such a citizen?" Fuck i love this band.
This band, wow wow. I don't know if I'll be able to put this one down, and it should make for such a fun live show.
