This is so distinctly Spitalfield (with an intro riff that reminds me of something from Coheed). Love it.

This is so good! And it makes me even more excited to see them with Copeland in two months

That Copeland show will be sick. So bummed they are not doing any Northeast dates for some reason.

I am so excited to see them releasing new music. One of my favorite bands from the 00s. I still spin each of their last 3 records regularly. Stop Doing Bad Things is so underrated and was one of the best albums of that era, imo.

Agreed! The drum tones alone on SDBT are underrated.

Ed Rose, the producer who worked with the get up kids? :-)

And the Casket Lottery, Schatzi, the Appleseed Cast, Limbeck, Blackpool Lights, Small Brown Bike, Motion City Soundtrack, and a bunch of other awesome bands/releases. He produced several of my Top 20 albums.

And on that note, today is going to be Ed Rose day and I’m just going to listen to Stop Doing Bad Things, Hi Everything’s Great, Dead Reckoning, I Am the Movie, Guilt Show, Survival Is For Cowards, and any other of his classics I have on vinyl.

Maybe he’ll work on a new Spitalfield album but Mark Rose is an accomplished producer in his own right now so maybe not. But Ed Rose + Mark Rose is a proven awesome combination.
