yeah awesome interview, and it confirmed what i was hoping to hear - zev tracked live drums for the album which is very cool.

i know zach sang is a huge podaster and interviewer but i was surprised at how well researched the interview was and how respectful it was of metal culture. just kind of assumed it would be surface level but i was super impressed.

 

99% of his interviews are asking questions the artist just answered two seconds ago so glad to hear he’s not doing that here. The most recent porter robinson interview was infuriating

I haven't even heard the new one yet, but I think 2025 might be the year of Spiritbox for me. Soft Spine and Perfect Soul have been on repeat for me the last few weeks, and I'm listening to The Fear of Fear right now and having a blast.
