I didn't get gold on a single challenge and still had enough for the platinum

 

I got the highest tier for the challenges on stealth and fighting but those drone missions sucked so much.

 

Drones were the easiest for me

 

with how much I loved Miles Morales in this and the trailer stuff for the new Miles movie. I just now bought the first collection of Miles comic books to read.

 

The Miles run is really great read.

Got the Platinum yesterday. Such a great game. Well worth the wait.

 

What a game. What an ending.

It’s just so endlessly fun, and I see myself returning to it often just to screw around. I played Spider-Man 2 for PS2 probably 10 times over, so I can’t imagine I won’t keep coming back to this.

I nearly got a 200 hit combo on one of the sable outposts, but got stuck at 197 before one of the jet pack assholes dropped a series of those red explosives on me. I used the Defense Shield suit power and had no issue tearing through them, for the most part.

I love how the combat almost seems too simplistic when you first pick it up, but then you start to get a feel for different styles and combinations of gadget/physical combat and can really make it unique to you.

If I had one complaint, it would be that I didn’t like that all the boss battles shared a pattern of beating them down until you could hit triangle to trigger a mini-cinematic attack, only to do it again without much variation in that repeated cinematic. But, boss battles being such a small part of the game, I’m not really even that bothered by it.

Now I just need to go back and 100% it. Had a couple stealth missions and drone missions to try and 3-Star for my own compulsive needs.

 

those dudes with jet packs are the actual worst ever.

 

Also, needless to say, there is a mid-credit and post-credit stinger that must be seen.

 

Swing-kicking enemies off of the roofs is so damn satisfying and funny for some reason. Like instead of doing all these insane long ass combos and finishers, im just swinging back and forth sending them all flying off the building. Makes me laugh every time.

 

I cannot get the hang of swing kicking at all and I don't know what makes it so damn hard

 

miles morales is the best character in the game tbh

Miles in this game is better than Miles in the comics for me and I really can't place why

 

I haven't read the comics yet but he just has so much personality in this game.

You can do them stood right next to whoever you’re trying to kick. You just have to tap x to jump then hold square straight away and you’ll swing kick from a standing position. That’s how I got those challenges anyways.

 

Whenever I'm swinging through the city and the music plays, I'm awaiting that moment that the Avengers theme start but never does....

all it makes me think about is will Sony try and work with Marvel to get the Marvel gaming universe.

 

I thought that too. This game has been such a success that I can imagine every single character in this universe being playable. They'd probably so a sequel before another one but can you imagine the characters that we could play as? Cap, Daredevil, Nova. On the hand, square Enix are doing an Avengers game so....

 

guardians of the galaxy space stuff would be sweet or thor action game would be dope.

 

Definitely not, this only happened because they held Spiderman hostage

 

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. It feels like a mix of the Raimi theme and the Avengers theme to me
