Watching a clip of JK Simmons and remembering that at one point there was a rumour Ice Cube was going to play JJJ in this trilogy. Talk about a bullet dodged lol

  10. Charlie Cox in this movie made me check out Daredevil... wow. The best piece of Marvel content I've ever seen and it's not close. Incredible show. A lot of these MCU movies are getting harder to watch cause there's too much gimmick in place of actual character development. Daredevil was a nice refresher. Also checked out Punisher which I loved and Defenders was ok but the ending was stupid.

Released concept art of Mysterio vs Strange. Would have been great.

    I do not exist.

So, we finally went to see this yesterday. I was pleased to have avoided most spoilers and enjoyed the film. I thought it would be too complicated and convoluted with the multiverse but I actually was surprised at how streamlined it was.

A good film. Not amazing obviously but it was superior to the previous Holland Spider-Man films.

My favourite moment and the moment that generated most emotion was Garfield saving MJ. Just so well done and redemption for his Peter.

Only my second cinema experience since the beginning of the pandemic. We waited this long, went at 10am so it would be quiet... only for some idiotic teenage boys to talk all the way through behind us in a virtually empty cinema. A blemish on the experience! Both my wife and I turned round and asked them to shut up... alas!

Lol still chuckle at marketing experts who said they needed to show Toby and Andrew in trailers to build hype. Think they did ok

Its a Spider-Man movie. He could fight a plastic bag and this would pull in a billion.

I mean, yeah…that’s kinda my point. So many people in my industry were in full panic and mode when in reality they just wanted confirmation haha

    Assume It's A Bit

The discourse so quickly shifted from "They need to stop revealing everything in trailers/marketing" to "If they don't show everything in the trailer the movie will flop" the moment something they wanted to see was kept secret
