America’s ass got a slight chuckle out of me even though it was dumb. The salt water or fresh water almost made me leave the theater it was so bad.

 

What annoys me about the salt water line beyond it being a bad joke is that it also makes May look like an idiot. If your joke doesn't sound like something a character would say, then don't have them say it.

 

It's not even a good "parental figure makes awkward joke" joke. It just sucks

 

I mean, if the joke had to be made, which it didn't, but if it did, then there's less awkward ways to make the same joke.

I just thought myself it would be better if she said the line to Peter and it was something more like "So wait... is he part octopus? Should I be giving him salt water?" as a statement of confusion over how bonkers the whole situation is.

It's still dumb, but it's better an approach than having May just assume he's part octopus and offer him salt water directly.

 

It’s a dumb bad joke but if anyone should have said it it’s Ned.

I personally loved it when Aunt May broke into I Could Do This All Day

 

I don't see what's so funny about the awards push. This was almost as good as David Ayer's Academy Award winning Suicide Squad.

 

A concept artist for Far From Home, No Way Home, Endgame, and Let There Be Carnage posted some art that he did of Tom Holland in the symbiote suit.

I don't see them going with the classic black suit spider if they do end up going that route.

 

This looks far too good to ever be used.

 

That art looks awesome. Why are they not allowed to share stuff from the already released movie, but can release something that should totally be used in a future movie? Lol

 

I am simply begging every awards body to give a trophy to Garfield this year. His performance as Jonathan Larson was incredible.

 

That really might have been the best performance of his career

 

i agree but there’s isn’t much of a chance he wins with the two front runners. would be great to see a nomination though

 

Yeah it'll be Smith or Cumberbatch (which, Cumberbatch is probably my #2, but Garfield was just too great)

 

Finally saw this, loved every minute, need to see it again before I compare it to the others but honestly felt they nailed it.

Maybe a few too many corny one-liners but I can live with that.

Molina and Defoe in particular knocked it out of the park, but felt like everyone brought their A-game.

Passed Age of Ultron at the box office, becoming the first solo MCU film to make more than an Avengers film.

 

tbf, calling this a solo movie maaaaaaay be a bit of a stretch lol

Any movie that isn’t title Avengers is technically a solo film
