i would not watch any of them again in their entirety since they’re all foolishly like 13 episodes a season

S3 of DD kind of softened exactly how much of a drag S2 is. I'd have to see how it holds up, I do wanna rewatch it and see

Yeah you can lob three to 4 episodes of all those shows - spin their wheels setting shit up
And retconning old plot threads - meh

I feel like being that Peter knows Matt is a lawyer (confidentiality) and is obviously special in some way, Marvel is fucking up if Matt isn't the first person that is re-introduced to Peter as Spidey

Season 2 of DD was so dull to me. I quit halfway through and never went back. Didn’t bother with season three.

Never watched any of the other Netflix shows, lol. Whoops

Hey, so here's another thought. All the records about Peter relating to Mysterio's death and the charges and etc.; would those not still show that Peter is Spider-Man on record or are they just mysteriously baleeted now from existence? Or does it appear as gibberish to people who try to read it?

When it comes to plotting out a season of Marvel superhero television, none of the Defenders stuff I watched made as good a use of its time as Agents of SHIELD season 4.

I care about plot a lot less than I do characters, so Jessica Jones 1 and Daredevil 1 (in that order) were still better for me than SHIELD 4. (Though, SHIELD also had characters I loved.) But, that 22-episode season made the most of its runtime better than any 13-episode Netflix season. Having separate mini-seasons with threads running through the different parts worked so well.

Though, at this point it’s incredibly hard for me to care about a single Marvel story being stretched into the television format, lol. Just gimme a good and/or fun movie.

The papers could still say “Peter Parker,” but if no one knows who that Peter Parker is then they can’t do anything about. I’m guessing anything with his face is gone.

But it’s also a magic spell so I wouldn’t put too much thought into it.

My assumption would be that Peter’s general involvement right down to his name being related to anything was completely erased. In the end of the film he sets a box down on the desk at his new, crummy apartment and there’s a book in said box about studying for a GED. So it would seem that in this new reality he’s not even a student at his high school. That part left me feeling simultaneously very sad for Peter because he has lost literally everything (think about his very full life at the start of the film in a comfortable, warm apartment with his loving aunt May and his school friends and a bright future ahead of him in contrast with that lonely apartment where he has no social support) and also very curious about the extent to which Peter Parker exists as a person at all. Does he…have a social security number anymore? Lol. Don’t think about it.

I also keep going back to the Venom mid credits scene because, depending on when they choose to pull the trigger on the symbiote’s involvement with Peter, his life is in a pretty dark place already if it finds him now. I could see a scenario in which it feeds off of that traumatic loneliness in a really interesting way were they to go that route.

This felt so crowded. Prob my least favorite of the 3.
Similar to raimis 3rd flick - more isn’t always more.

hopefully whatever is next for MCU Spider-Man is more focused and doesn’t need 4 villains, 3 heroes, and the multiverse for the story.
