I'm still convinced Disney and Feige were the ones that talked Netflix into canceling the shows. Apparently they couldn't feature any Netflix characters until 2 years after their last Netflix appearance, so I'm sure they wanted to end that from being prolonged.

It would add up, too, with Holland recently confirming that the scene with Murdock wasn't possible by the time filming had started and was added later on. DD3 was October 2018 and NWH started filming in early October 2020.

 

If that’s the case then I for one am glad it happened. The Netflix shows hadn’t been great for a while and it was time to allow some of those actors to actually enter the MCU proper. We’d had enough of Ike Perlmutter’s forced separation bullshit.

 

Idk I loved punisher and daredevil pretty consistently

 

I do think the Netflix shows' respective third seasons were good, even Jessica Jones, as messy as it was. Punisher S2 was a step down but still highly enjoyable

 

More often than not the Netflix shows were clearly too many episodes long and dragged like hell. Technically they were in the MCU I guess if they mention the big green guy or the "incident" in NY right? Lol was corny they couldn't actually refer to shit by name. The last seasons of JJ and Cage were really bad to me (episode 2(?) of JJ when Trish is discovering her powers is one of the all time shittiest TV episodes I've ever watched) Just glad Daredevil and Kingpin are officially back.

 

Trish was the absolute worst lol. I don't think I ever watched JJ3 because it came out at such a weird time, but I probably will now I'm going through all these shows again (I guess). feels like I should give it a fair chance, Daredevil 3 and Luke Cage 2 were both great

 

also if we're cherrypicking actors to come back from those shows into the main universe: Karen, Misty and Colleen, please. I don't really need anyone else, but they were all so goddamn good in those roles. (Karen killing Wesley is the best scene in live-action Marvel, maybe?)

 

Daredevil is the only Netflix show that I’d rewatch in its entirety.
