I could watch Andrew Garfield watching paint dry and I'm sure he'd make it engaging

Finally saw this tonight. Goddamn what a joy this film was for me personally. Just all around fun. Maybe some clunky parts, but it was easily the best Disney has handled Spider-Man. Can’t wait to watch it again.

 

Ok, more stupid nitpicks that I really don’t care about: what happens to the display case of Peter at his high school? Is it just there now and everyone is like who the hell is this guy? Wouldn’t MJ and Ned still remember they talked to Dr Strange or does everything involving Peter disappear too?

 

I asked this same information as well as all of the photos in each other’s phones along with contact information in general. I think the spell literally made it so he didn’t exist to everyone and erased him from their lives.

I've said a couple times around this site that I'm pretty much over the MCU at this point but I will always make an exception for Spider-Man (and Guardians) and holy shit this movie was great. I felt like a fucking kid again when Tobey and his villains showed up, it was giving me chills to see Defoe as this character again. I didn't even realize I had such strong nostalgia for that movie until tonight

If the spell can remove people's memories I'm sure it can remove a display case. You just gotta fill in your own head cannon for this shit lol. We're dealing with the multiverse and magic so just make it make sense for yourself.

I can suspend my disbelief that a special spider bit a boy and made him have super powers and coincidentally he’s also a super smart boy who can invent his own special spider webbing but I cannot imagine a world where a magic spell could possibly address every loophole I can think of!
