Every scene with the 3 spidermen was better than the last. Andrew Garfield was hysterical. Really felt like it was gonna be way too forced but i think they did a great job.

the AG catching MJ scene made me more emotional than May. As soon as she said the line i knew it was gonna happen.

Just really loved everything about it. Sure it might have felt a little messy in some spots but, it sure was a heck of a time.

Let’s not forget about Keaton, who would have been great mixing it up with all of them. But it’s not like the movie needed another villain.

Just saw someone else bring up an interesting plot hole. If the villains had to know that Spider-Man is Peter Parker to come to the MCU, how was Electro there?

Not sure if I follow, but I'm guessing he got it from the news in Tom Holland's world when he got there?

Silence is probably my second favorite Garfield film after The Social Network. Not the best Scorsese, but it’s certainly one of his most personal films that you can feel just comes from a place of sincere seeking, and from my understanding was a pet project for nearly 30 years.

This isn’t the thread to get into the theological and human experiences of the film, but it’s one of the better book adaptations that I’ve seen and carries the weight that Endō’s book is comprised of, without the overbearing torture and pain that can sometimes make me want to take a week-long gap during my reading. I live in Taiwan and am actually planning on going to some of the film locations this spring.

Garfield’s portrayal in it feels sincere and even when he shares the screen with Driver, he is in a class of his own. Almost as if he has went through the same trials and questions that Rodriguez encounters. Not to take away from Driver’s performance, but you can feel both anger and anguish from Garfield.

It was interesting. I don’t wanna get too in the weeds about my personal life, or theology, in this setting, lol… But, the denomination I grew up in and at one point was pursuing ordination in is called the Christian & Missionary Alliance. And, I’ve deconstructed a ton over the years but am still a person of faith. So, yeah. A lot to digest in there, lol.

Andrew’s performance was really captivating. And, I loved how it was all captured and unfolded throughout the film. That guy who kept betraying and denying and asking for forgiveness was really something else.

Some of the other thoughts popping into my head to say are related to theology in ways that, again, I don’t wanna get into right now, lol, so in short, yeah, I liked it.

It’s best not to think why Eddie Brock was transported into the MCU other than Sony wanted it to happen

Real world reasons aside, maybe in universe this is a sign that Strange's spell wasn't really or wasn't the only cause of the disturbance? I mean, there has to be a reason why things are happening in Dr. Strange 2...

    Assume It's A Bit

Venom knew Peter was Spider-Man cause the symbiote is part of a multiversal hive mind and knows about Spider-Man 3 (now there’s a comic book sentence). Electro probably knew he was Peter Parker, but didn't actually know who that was

the spell brought people over who knew spiderman was peter parker. so no, he would not have gotten the news when he arrived, since he would not have ever come over without knowing first

admittedly I did not revisit ASM2 to check if he found out at any point. but a MCU movie having plot holes is baked in at this point.

Great movie. Love to see so much crow being eaten from certain dark and miserable corners of the multiverse this weekend.

That said, it’s a 0/10 for me because at no point in the film did they play Vindicated. Them’s the breaks.

Given that this made quite literally 100X as much money as the next 2 highest performing movies it's much more likely that this is the only thing we're going to get in theaters for the rest of time

I have bad news about Multiverse of Madness. The multiverse has allowed Feige and others to open the Pandora’s box on nostalgia/legacy actors entering the current MCU.
