It's also insane that the ripples in the suit flapping in the wind are 100% CGI. Blows my mind how realistic that looks

Meanwhile, Tom Holland's Spidey looks like a smoothed out videogame character

Train sequence in Spider-Man 2 is way better

This is probably a very hot take, but I rewatched Spider-Man 2 last night, and it was kind of a drag for me haha. The train scene was great, though.

It’s interesting you say that because when I watched it recently I thought it was way shorter than I remember it being

Haha my fiance and I both thought it was almost over, only to see another hour left

I’m kind of having an urge to watch The Amazing Spider-Man. One and two.

guess the actual runtime, if it wasn't cleared up here, is closer to an exact 2:30

James Cameron Reveals His Vision For His Unmade Spider-Man Film

We got the Raimi movies and I love them, but man I would be interested to know as much about Cameron’s ideas for his Spider-Man movie as possible

Reading his quote, I am reminded that Mark Millar said basically the same thing leading up to the launch of his comic Kick-Ass. He kept reiterating how this was going to be a comic about a "superhero" in the REAL world.

And like all things Millar related, it was not that in any way, shape, or form lol.

Wasn’t DiCaprio the rumored actor Cameron had in mind for his Peter Parker?

    Could have been great stuff.

lol yeah, I’m far more interested in James Cameron’s idea of “real world superhero” than Mark Millar’s

I’m pretty sure the treatment for Cameron’s Spider-Man movie is out there. I remember seeing a video talking about it years ago

Will always be there opening weekend for whatever Cameron does. Sucks he’s wasted so many years of his career on these Avatar sequels but hopefully they do eventually come out and they are worth the wait. Will be there opening weekend regardless.

I still haven’t watched Avatar. It’s just one of those films I never get around to watching

Same. I maybe saw the first 15 minutes and it just bored me to sleep.

I’ve seen it multiple times but I could not tell you a single thing that happens in it

It was good to see in the theaters because the 3-D was amazing. But I can't imagine watching it any other setting.

I watched Avatar earlier this year with my family on our den TV and I forgot how fucking long that movie is. It feels weird to say that since I have no problem sitting through Marvel movies, but I actually started to get bored close to the end.

That being said, it's the best live-action/CGI adaptation of Ferngully: The Last Rainforest a director could hope to make.
