I would love for Venom to be the sixth member of the Sinister Six, but feels more and more likely that they relegate him to a credit scene instead for no good reason.

 

The sixth member is Mephisto. Because 666.

 

Or conversely, absolutely great reason. Wouldn't you want a Venom vs. Spidey match to get total focus instead of being relegated to a side dish at a buffet?
