A credible leaker in the spoiler subreddit has shared that while Sony is currently prepping the second trailer, the marketing department is still unsure if they want to show Tobey and Andrew in it.

Can't really blame them. The hype basically markets this film.

 

I probably would tease it without showing it if I could

 

Miles taking over?

 

In 2028 maybe. Peter still has to go to college, meet Harry, etc etc

 

Yeah, I definitely see Peter getting a college/adult trilogy. Maybe introduce Miles in the middle movie.

 

So Peter will meet/fight Venom while in College?

 

Tom Holland said this is the end of the Homecoming trilogy so I’m assuming the possible college trilogy won’t use Home in the titles anymore.

 

And hopefully has a real director

 

And hopefully are just actual Spider-Man movies

 

Has Spider-Man not been in the homecoming trilogy?

 

What I’d like for them to do is skip a couple years into the future for the next film to have a more experienced Tom Holland Peter Parker. Similar to the 2018 video game

 

Why bother?

 

Venom, the Osborns, Kraven, Miles, Gwen, etc. could all be used in a second trilogy.

 

He has, and I've loved these movies for the most part, I just miss the more classic Spider-Man ingredients we've seen less in them. I want a solid NYC adventure instead of a chaotic Avengers-related one

 

We can dream. Hopefully that’s what happens

 

There's probably some slam dunk money shots with all 3 spider-men that Sony marketing is dying to use in the next trailer

 

Homecoming was this outside of one sequence in DC

 

Pretty sure he means more big city Manhattan, less suburban Queens.

aka more skyscraper swinging.

 

Well, Queens is NYC, so, idk. It's also pretty important in terms of Spider-Man locations.

 

Exactly - Far From Home gave us just a liiitle bit of skyscraper swinging in the end.

 

If this is true then it lines up with a plot leak from July that confirms some major spoilers

- MJ is denied into MIT because of her public association with Peter and the court case

- Green Goblin murders May in front of Peter

- Ned is the one that brings Tobey and Andrew into the fight by using Strange’s sling ring

- The film ends with Peter’s identity being erased from literally everyone in the MCU

 

There are also a few spoilers in that article that most of us already know.
