My resume is stacked if having a crew hat means you were part of the production

How many of those hats did you have months prior to the film releasing and weren’t currently available to be purchased?

That’s pretty cool tbh. I wished more films shot closer to my location

Lends more evidence to an MCU connection

in addition to the Venom mid-credits audio leak that already came out

Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if Venom had a cameo, either at the end or during the credits (hat or no hat, lol). But, I can’t imagine him having any significant role. With how leaky this film’s been, seems like something that would’ve been in at least some rumors before now of true.

Hate the implication that Venom’s first real encounter with a Spider-Man will likely be under the Kevin Feige/Marvel Studios banner, though, instead of the more “anything can happen” solo Sony banner. Only silver lining would be if Jon Watts go too busy with F4, leaving Tom Hardy & Kelly Marcel room to define the fourth Tom Holland Spidey film.

Idk if I’d want to see those two in control of a Spider-Man 4, but Venom 3 featuring Spider-Man? Yes

I just really think this series needs a major creative refresh after this film (which, with Watts going to another Marvel project, seems likely).

And, if the alleged leaks around both Venom 2 and this are at all accurate… Letting the third film in the Tom Hardy/Kelly Marcel Venom trilogy double as the fourth Tom Holland Spidey film would be a great next step before a college Spidey trilogy or whatever.

Really, my top preference is for Venom to stay away from the MCU. But, we can’t have nice things I guess, so whatever. :venom:

Venom can't stay away from the MCU; how else will he become Iron Venom?

Tom Hardy's Venom being in the MCU could be cool, but part of me was really hoping they'd let Andrew Garfield be the Spider-Man of Venom's universe (or retcon the Venoms into being part of the Amazing universe, whichever)

I do think the tone of Venom fits more into the ASM universe. Gonna be weird seeing Venom biting heads off of people around child-friendly, Disney Spidey

Venom bites heads off-screen, the same as Kaecilius chopping off the head of some random dude at Kamar-Taj. I don’t think that will be too much of an issue.

It’s more about the way people in general talk about Venom not being able to mesh well with the MCU when Venom is a goofy, bloodless, general audience-friendly movie with a PG-13 rating. It’s not like either Venom movie is a gory R-rated film like they really should be (especially one that features Carnage as a villain).

I’m still sticking to my crackpot theory that Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man is in the Kraven movie that’s supposed to start shooting early next year (until I’m inevitably proven wrong).
