I love the dad in that trailer.

Hopefully he doesn't pull an Uncle Ben.

Oh man I'm gonna love this

 

The night scenes look very vibrant and fit my cyberpunk needs which is enough for me to watch this.

 

Liev Schreiber is voicing Kingpin.

Hailee Steinfeld is voicing Spider-Gwen.

The animation looks absolutely stunning.

I can't get over how perfect this is.

 

So there's John Krasinski and Jake Johnson both voicing Spider-Man in that trailer correct?

This looks really good, the animation is so luscious.

The whole time I just figured it was Nick behind a mask haha

That line alone increased my hype for this movie about 100%

 

I had goosebumps watching that trailer. This is everything.

This looks fantastic! I'm beyond excited. Also love that Jake Johnson is playing Peter Parker, although he seems to be a bit different of a character from the Peter I've seen and read in comics/TV/movies.

Wonder if he could end up being Ben Reilly or someone, but that's unlikely since the casting has been released.

Anyways, this looks like it could be one of the best Spidey films to date.

I still can't get over how I felt when I first saw that shot of the Spider-Men swinging together, before even hitting play. And how that surprise Spider-Gwen moment, that I had no idea would happen, made me smile so big. Oh, and that great use of comic book lettering and whatnot...

I wanna keep talking about how much I love this, but I also don't know what else to say. (I'll surely eventually find a way to articulate my feelings in a post for Whatever A Spider Can.)

I'm tempted to see Incredibles 2 in 3D, just to fully submerse myself in this trailer. And when the movie itself comes out, it's probably gonna beat the 5 times I saw ASM (the most I've seen a movie on the big screen).

This is probably one of my most anticipated for this year and the new trailer definitely solidified that. So excited to see Spider-Gwen on the big screen, very curious to see how deep they dive into the Spider-Verse. Would love to see a ton of the different Spideys. Give me Spider-Ham on the big screen.

 

those lord & miller* guys sure are good at imbibing a lot of big properties with life and vibrancy and joy and color. and people seem to really love the results. can you imagine if you fired them off your big property. what a wack move that would be.

*no they didn't do it alone, obviously this directing team and the animation team deserve unlimited credit for the two or so minutes of stellar work we've seen

 

This looks awesome. Is there a Spider-verse run in the comics I should read that this is based on? I’m on issue 95 of Ultimate Spider-Man and still haven’t introduced myself to Miles in the comics. I’ve read like 5-6 issues of Spider-Gwen and have enjoyed those.

 

I don't know if it's going to be based on the Spider-Verse run, I didn't pick up on much that made me think it's connected to those comics in that trailer, but the comics are:

I liked that story. It's all over the place, heh, but it's fun.
