Also the opening montage was such a joy to look at

 

And the payoff of the comic book covers being thrown into a pile when all the other Spider-People were debuted when Miles truly became Spider-Man was A+. That and the swinging sequence was such an effective way of going about completing his arc.

 

did anyone notice this Easter egg?

I’ve been seeing people starting to post about it but when Miles is looking for someone to call you can see Bendis and Ditko as contacts in his phone.
It’s a great Easter egg and I’m already excited for my next viewing next week.

 

The Stan Lee cameo made me tear up. First time I’ve seen a Marvel movie since he died and it felt fitting.

 

At least the review is in character.

Was wondering when they would release these. Probably gonna sell out in three seconds flat.

 

Saw this Saturday. It was fantastic! I saw Wreck it Ralph 2 the following day and it was jarring how good Spider-Verse was and never condescended to its target audience where Ralph felt like the movie equivalent of a candy bar.

That's just Andrew DeVary's joke - the real negative review is from Roger Moore (no, not that one).

 

First Captain America and now Strange.
Interesting but I’m glad they ultimately kept it Spider-focused for the first film. These cameos will be neat in the future and it shows Sony and Marvel Studios are getting along.

I really want those Jordans but I can't find any retailer for Canada :/

 

When I see the word Jordans all I can think about now is that one episode of Patriot Act.

 

Can they not ship internationally

 

The Nike app that they're launching on isn't downloadable in Canada. Prices are inflated by ridiculous shipping through other channels. I could drive 2 hours to the nearest store that's selling them but I'm not THAT big into shoes.

 

Want but know I won't get before they are gone.

 

The only thing I can add since I've yet to see it, is that thanks to happy meals my kids now have a Spider Gwen and Spider Man toy which is pretty cool.

All the above are good but not like fantastic movies. If this is as good as it appears to be, I think it has a chance!

 

Yeah, I would say it's got a pretty solid chance but people love those Pixar movies.

 

I don't think of Isle of Dogs has any chance against this or the Disney/Pixar movies (shame since it's my second favorite of the four). I also don't think it matters since Incredibles will stomp everything despite being pretty mediocre
