Those are probably my favorite. Though it's been awhile since I've done a rewatch Edit: also throw in Time Force
oh duh ofc TF i knew i was forgetting one. those are the big 3 although i have a soft spot for seasons like Zeo and Jungle Fury
I also like those. I find Lightspeed to be decent. Dino Thunder was alright. I actually really liked SPD. Mystic Force is much better than I thought it would be when I first heard the premise of the season, but it's not great.
i can agree with all of that. SPD is another gem, Lightspeed is pretty standard and feels a lot like "lets try and do MMPR again" but it works well enough. Mystic Force has so much mythology in it it feels like the rangers are pushed aside in favor of Koragg/Leanbow, Udona, Claire, etc although Nick is the exception. not really digging Ninja Steel so far
I just thought Mystic Force was going to be absolute garbage, so when it was just fine, I enjoyed it well enough. Not great though. I am still watching Dino Charge. I'm so far behind.
Makes me happy that Nacho from "Better Call Saul" will hopefully have a bigger role and more acting gigs in the future. Guy's a solid actor. On a different note, sad that's Bokeem Woodbine was basically useless in this.
I love that this became a Power Rangers thread towards the end there. I feel like chorus needs a PR thread for the series and all it's seasons
http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/07/08/spider-man-homecoming-easter-eggs-and-references?read A good list of things I didn't notice while watching. Also, Feige and Pascal state that Michelle is just a high school student that will not go on to become the MJ from the comics, but could still end up dating Peter later on.
The Peter Parker/Spider-Man I watched every Saturday morning had finally made it to the big screen. Yes I know movies aren't supposed to run on nostalgia but man I loved this movie. Also, I feel like it's one of the only marvel movies that they actually put effort into fleshing out the villain. Michael Keaton was pretty great.
The final poster Sony just released for the film is the best one, imo. Nice throwback to the Fantasy Action comic cover that first featured Spidey.
The more I think about this movie the more disappointed I am. Marvel films have generally always been a hit for me but after Dr Strange, GOTG 2 and this I feel like they really need to right the ship. This had such potential but felt very all over the place which at least for Marvel felt odd. Although I didn't love Dr Stange and GOTG 2 they felt "tight" and focused. This definitely did not feel that way to me. Maybe it was the Sony influence. Also dispointing that it's highly unlikely we're going to see this Spidey face Venom cause given a few more years that would be awesome.
