Hm, I kind of doubt they'll go that route in the movies, at least this soon, but definitely interesting that he's in it at all
I do believe that we'll see Miles in the MCU, as long as the Marvel/Sony relationship lasts long enough, but probably not for another decade. (Assuming this shared continuity, in one shape or another, is still profitable then.) In the meantime, though, at least we're getting an animated Miles Morales theatrical film in December 2018, produced by Lord & Miller! And, Mahershala Ali is voicing the uncle in that film that Donald Glover is apparently playing in this one, so that's cool.
All I'm seeing are great reactions to this film. Which is a relief because this was the film I was worried the most about.
Really excited to check this out as well. Reviews coming out extremely positive so far has me very hyped
I wouldn't expect that character for a long time. Tom Holland is signed on for a trilogy and could appear in spinoffs.
The trailers for this didn't get me all that excited, but all of this early positive buzz pushed me to buy tix.
I thought it did and that's why people are allowed to say their impressions? I could be wrong I'm not very movie savvy
the embargo is for critics from "accredited" or "larger" publications. after it lifts, that's when you'll start seeing those professional reviews pop up and a Tomatometer score on RT. i assume the embargo will lift like a week before opening weekend probably.
Tom Holland Is All For His SPIDER-MAN Mentoring Miles Morales In The MCU Tom Holland also spoke about appearing in the spin-offs and he is staying in MCU films and will not feature in the Sony films. Makes sense, I would want to stay with the winning team too.
They were the original team, but theres been 6(?) or 7 people who've revised the script. I think these guys did the first iteration then it was another writing team and then the final team along with Jon Watts
Can confirm: This was great. Best since "Spider-Man 2." Though, I will say, I wish they would have gone deeper with Vulture. He was a middle class guy that got screwed by a billionaire. Feel like that's a thread that would have been cool to follow.
Never got on board with either ASM movie beyond Garfield and Stone. Regardless, it's better than both of those! Also, really refreshing to see a high school movie with a diverse student body. But kind of disappointing Aunt Mae is reduced to being known as the "hot woman." Even Sally Field had a job at the hospital.
Worried it's not an emphatic best Spider-Man yet. Haha. (I hate that trilogy. I want the best ever by a huge margin.)
Hannibal has like three lines and it's funnier than all of "Baywatch," which I forgot he as in and totally wasted.
I was dragged to see that movie and literally the only thing I remember about it is the image of Hannibal's dead body because it legit haunted me for a few days lol. Was not expecting that at all, or for it to be so realistic Also can you say how much screentime Glover has? Guessing like a few minutes at most
