I mean, I haven't watched Holland and Zendaya's performances yet, but I'd probably get a kick out of both. But, arguing about how funny the videos are or aren't feels like a waste of time when we instead could be reiterating how terrible a Spider-Man Tobey Maguire was.
Agreed there. The one thing I did personally enjoy was Willem Dafoe. I think that was perfect casting.
You are acting like it's a personal slight that I think it was unbelievably stupid. I keep trying to end it by saying it's not a big deal that you like it and I don't. But you keep acting like I'm somehow inferior for not seeing how "funny" it is. Just stop.
Haha, no. In fact you're the only one bothered at all. I was making a point and was making conversation about the fact that your reaction to it and what you said came off really exaggerated and then condescending. Nice talking with you.
Someone once tried to make the argument in front of me that Tobey was a better actor than Elijah Wood. It was bizarre.
BoxOfficePro's set their initial forecast on this opening at $135 million. Not bad at all. I could see it going even higher. Much of the countering is just this being another reboot and all the superhero movies this year, but I think this has to be the largest one for kids, encouraging for adults due to the Civil War appearance, and broadly interesting due to cast members like RDJ, Keaton, and Donald Glover.
I think it'll be higher. Spider-Man is far and away Marvel's most popular IP. They are going to bank so high on this.
