Disagree completely with this statement. It gets a specific version of Peter pretty well, but not one I personally think is my favorite, and not the best we've seen on TV or in the movies. IMO.
I was always fairly certain the spidey senses were attuned to danger? The wall thing sounds like you were looking for it my friend. Being disappointed by the other two spider-man series, i'm really holding out hope on this one and the clip, Hollands personality, and the side characters i'm liking a lot so far. The only thing really not working for me is the title still.
Well, one, I think giving up your secret identity is a danger. And two, it's used pretty frequently by all Spider-People to make sure no one is watching while putting on/off the costume. I noticed it in the first trailer, and it's still there. There's something funky with how they're doing the CGI and it doesn't look quite right. He's not sticking to the wall as much as he's sliding along it ... the finger presses don't look correct.
Granted, the nuance of his powers vary from writer to writer enough (like whether or not regular shoes inhibit his adhesive abilities) that I can accept his spider-sense not registering his friend as a danger. Still, his powers functioning as protection from spying eyes is totally canon.
CGI for the most part has always stood out. No matter how good it is, i've always been able to notice it. Something like that I guess just wouldn't bother me or stand out as much as it seems to for you.
And what are they calling the new thing in ASM now, a "psychic blindspot" or something like that? Edit: Psychic Blindspot Thanks to Dr. Strange, Spider-Man (Marvel Comics) developed a special blindspot that prevents people from deducing his secret identity unless he is unmasked in front of them. I like this way around the problem. Use Strange, fix it! Haha.
Totally forgot that was a thing, lol. Still hate that the best marriage in comics was sold to basically the devil in order to overthrow a status quo change from a highly overrated comic book event, and also to save the life of a character who had already died once in a fantastic 90s story.
Then it failed? I don't need to lighten up, I laugh at silly dumb crap all of the time. I'm allowed to not like some dumb lip sync thing. I even said I'm probably too old, I'm clearly not their audience. Don't take it as a slight because you liked it and I didn't.
What is "their audience?" What are you "too old for?" I've never caught the show before, and who'd of thought Tom Holland would've ever been able to nail Rihanna moves so effortlessly in drag? It's quite funny.
I would imagine their target demographic is age fourteen years of age through like twenty five. I've never watched an entire episode of the show before, but the few skits I've seen have been fun. There are a million other shows I'd rather watch.
Their audience is probably some young person who loves lip syncing, Rihanna, drag, dancing, and Tom Holland. I really don't care much about any of them. I mean, I liked Tom Holland in Civil War, but his involvement doesn't make me suddenly care about everything else. I'm glad you think it's funny. It was painfully dumb to me. I don't watch the show because none of it appeals to me in any way.
I thought Holland's dancing was impressive. I'll give him that. Did I laugh? Not once. I've never been able to get through more than a minute of that show lol.
