This poster might feel more like Spider-Man than literally any other movie poster for any Spider-film ever. Love it. But... Why the heck does he still have those awkward black bars!? I keep getting annoyed at that weird, dumb design choice over and over again, lol. Can we please ditch 'em by the sequel?
These are both similar and very cool, but there's something about the layout of new one that just feels even more like a classic Spider-Man image. Like, I could totally see it being a John Romita Sr. comic book panel. We're still totally on the same page with the ASM2 costume being the best one so far, though, lol.
Like, I know all the flaws of ASM2 very well and have no interest in rehashing them, BUT, come on, this still Spider-Man perfection:
Just watched the Raimi Spider-Man for the first time at least since ASM came out and, man, it's going to be hard to top. Here's hoping
Raimi's Spider-Man will always be the best for me, but I hope Tom Holland will prove himself to be a decent replacement (even more than he was in Civil War). Go Spidey, Go! =D
ASM2 was the perfect Spider-Man costume (but a bad movie) I like the new one and have no complaints except that it looks like a videogame design. It's like Deadpool in that I don't know how much is CG and how much is live action
These posters look like they're advertising an animated Spidey television show to me. They don't feel "big" at all
In a way that's refreshing though. It's like looking at a comic cover. Whereas most superhero movies go for realism
Not feeling "big" is, I'd argue, a big part of what's good about these posters. We know it's gonna get big in the third act with whatever happens on that boat, but the smaller moments are probably what'll make or break the film and will likely be the highlights.
Speaking of "big," if this Tony Stark relationship doesn't lead to Peter getting a Leopardon, it'll be a wasted opportunity.
I still don't like how the new costume looks fully animated (to me at least) but this is one of the few superhero movies I'm still looking forward to. Always loved Spider-Man
