holy shit i could TOTALLY see them doing this. there's GOTTA be some retcon type shit they're considering pulling to maintain that status quo
...which moved back Doctor Strange. Man, navigating both Sony's schedule & Marvel Studios' schedule can't be fun. Also, so wild that there are currently THREE live action Spider-Man-related films scheduled for 2021. What a year it's gonna be. This will definitely be better than Morbius & worse than Venom, no question.
I like Spider-Man in the summer but I’ll deal with a Nov release. Since Doctor Strange got delayed this is currently my most anticipated 2021 superhero film.
The Eternals, Morbius, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, The Suicide Squad, The Batman, untitled Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel, & Black Adam (maybe, hopefully). Out of all of those, the only one I'm 100% sure right now I'll like less than Spider-Man is Morbius. Granted, as low as the floor is for me, the ceiling is also pretty high, as it always is w/ me & Spider-Man-related media. Maybe this one will work for me! (Why do I do this to myself?)
I'm 20% joking, I know it's a reality of blockbuster and, in general, mainstream Hollywood filmmaking. Superhero movies get really overt about it though, them and Michael Bay/Fast and Furious movies
Lol I wonder if this idea of placing products in movies for promotional support will catch on. It’s a bold idea.
The opening scene is gonna be Peter getting his driver's license and Happy pulling up and saying "Peter, Tony wanted you to have this Hyundai Sonata Hybrid"
they'll probably have the hyundai item be something like a stark vehicle that he was "saving for the right time"
