SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME's Jake Gyllenhaal Drops Some SPOILERS About His Unexpected Take On Mysterio
For as much as I absolutely love the MCU I can’t say I love this incarnation of Spider-Man. I really like Holland in the role... but that’s just about it.
I think the formatting of your post messed up a little? As for the bit about people complaining... In all fairness, Spider-Man is a MASSIVELY popular character, and his 6 live action films (w/ 3 different actors in 3 different continuities) get different things right while each also straying from the traditional character in its own unique way. I don't think it's forgetting to like the movies (I like aspects of each of 'em), but rather a desire for something better. The same way both Superman Returns and Man of Steel were poorly received while each having people who appreciate what they did well. The ravenous praise for Into the Spider-Verse is probably partially a result of it being the first one to get EVERYTHING right, which is why wrong Raimi-loving @Nathan, ASM-loving me, & those who connect w/ Tom Holland are all happy now.
I don’t hate it SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME - A First Look At Mysterio May Have Finally Been Revealed Thanks To Empire
"However, things take a rather unexpected turn when Happy Hogan turns up and it instantly becomes clear that he's now romantically involved with the wall-crawler's aunt."
When I last watched Homecoming, I forgot how often they did that whole "she's hot" thing. Literally 3 different times, 3 different people. I think half of her too few scenes did it. *sigh* Like are they setting up a prequel based on Millar & the Dodsons' Trouble miniseries? lol.
Did a quick search to see if that Jan 15th rumor ever got confirmed. It didn't, I don't think, but I did click on a link describing that rumor as a "confirmation" itself. The same article also got some filler out of that same "how do you market this movie when Peter's, like, dead!?" nonsense. *yawn*
