Yeah, it's just not fair to compare Spider-Verse to any other comic book/super hero movie, let alone other Spider-Man movies. Homecoming is still my favorite live action Spidey movie, though ASM isn't too far behind it

I really didn’t like ASM all that much but man Andrew Garfield was perfect. Wish I could have more of him as Peter

One thing I love about ASM is the Lizard fight in the high school. I thought they nailed how Spiderman would fight right there

  4. So... the perfect live-action Spider-Man would be Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker fighting Sam Raimi's Doc Ock within the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

there was this commercial about ned and peter entering a science fair and I was all hyped because of nerdy stuff. It ends up being a commercial for some car and I hate everything about this. Spider-Man is ruined.

I just don't get why they had him take his mask off, lol. I get that Hollywood likes showing off their actors, but if you just take out that pointless throwaway moment where sparks hit his face... You can let us look at the mask instead of his ridiculous emoting. And, you can have the touching moment of the passengers helping him up w/out that goofy "we'll never tell" moment.

Spider-Verse literally takes everything that went right with all the other interpretations of Spider-Man, puts them all together, and shows it off an absolutely breathtaking art style. I don't see how it could possibly be anything other than #1

What's everyone's 2 to 3 favorite things about each Spider-film? (Without listing what you don't like, or going beyond a few highlights, or ranking films.)

I'm busy, but I will answer my own question here later. And, would be interested in hearing everyone else's thoughts.

Spider-Verse will be #1 until the sequel inevitably has animated versions of Tobey and Andrew

FFH has me wanting to see Mysterio and his illusions done on the art style of Spider-Verse.

My favorite SM moment was the air taken out of the room when Michael Keaton answers the door and the tension in the car. That was fantastically done.

Vulture is without a doubt my favorite villain out of cinematic Spidey villains Jake G may take that spot though

    Amazing Spider-Man

The Raimi films and ASM2 don’t do much for me so I’d just toss them into the air and let them fall in any order.

I can't possibly do this for Spider-Verse. That whole movie is just perfect. As for the rest:

    Spider-Man
    - The generally campy tone worked well for the time
    - JK Simmons as Jameson (Would it be unfair to include him for all 3? Because he was my favorite part of these movies)

    Spider-Man 2
    - Doc Ock is a fantastic villain. The subplot of him sort of fighting with the arms for control was great and his sacrifice at the end felt earned.
    - The action scenes at the bank and on the train

    Spider-Man 3
    - Pretty much everything with Sandman was pretty well done
    - Harry's arc in this is probably the best any of the main trio had in any of the movies

    Amazing Spider-Man
    - The more modern take on Peter (which I still don't understand the complaint that he was "too cool". Like, did we watch different movies? Holland's Peter is probably cooler than Garfield's)
    - The chemistry between Peter and Gwen was fantastic
    - Pretty much every action/swinging sequence looks amazing

    Amazing Spider-Man 2
Pretty much all the positive things I have for the first one hold true for this one, but with Peter and Gwen's chemistry and dynamic being even stronger

    Homecoming
    - I really enjoyed Peter's arc in this, culminating in the rubble scene
    - Everything with Keaton's Vulture, but most notably him answering the door and the car ride to the dance
    - The supporting cast (Ned, MJ, Flash etc.) are superb

    ASM:
    1) Garfield and Stone’s chemistry
    2) High school fight scene between Peter and Dr. Conner
    3) George Stacy’s death and Peter’s reaction

    ASM2:
    1) Garfield and Stone’s chemistry
    2) Everything between Peter and Harry
    3) Electro and Peter fight in time square

    Spider-Man:
    1) Ben’s death and Peter chasing who he believes the murderer is

    Ok, let's go...

    SM
    - J Jonah Jameson
    - The whole wrestling match sequence
    - Peter catching the food in the cafeteria

    SM2
    - Literally everything with Doc Ock
    - The whole "pizza time" sequence
    - The whole "Raindrops" happy sequence

    SM3
    - The awakening of Sandman
    - Peter dancing awkwardly while evil/"emo"
    - Jameson again, who probably should've been a SM2 answer, too, but wanted to mix things up

    ASM
    - Peter's journey from irresponsible to vengeful to heroic, culminating in that fantastic scene w/ the kid in the car
    - Peter, on the high from Gwen liking him, testing out his powers w/ Coldplay as the soundtrack
    - The blue collar family dynamic between Peter, Ben, & May

    ASM2
    - Peter & Gwen's absolutely electric chemistry lighting up every scene they share
    - The stylish Spider-Man action sequence that (kinda) opens the film
    - The score that Hans Zimmer, Pharrell Williams, & Johnny Marr's combined styles created

    Homecoming
    - Zendaya & the rest of the students' (& teachers') dynamic, but especially Zendaya
    - Peter in Toomes' kitchen
    - The Spider-Man classic theme at the beginning

    Into the Spider-Verse
    - The stunning animation
    - The excellent character & thematic writing
    - The great score

    Venom
    - Tom Hardy as Eddie playing off Tom Hardy as Venom
    - Michelle Williams responding to Tom Hardy being ridiculous
    - This bonkers film being beautifully shot by the same cinematographer who, that same year, won an Oscar for A Star is Born
