When people say ''Not my MJ'' are they saying Kirsten Dunst's version was iconic or something? Because no lol
Dunst's MJ may be one of the worst things that could have happened to that character. She went from being considered one of the strongest characters in comics to just being Spidey's love interest and a damsel in distress plot device, and that's the main impression an entire generation got of her character.
I totally agree. Still not a fan of Peter's identity being revealed, but I can live with the world temporarily hating Spider-Man. That portion is very true to the comics, as much as it makes me feel bad for him lol
I think it would be dumb if people started hating Peter after he just saved the world from Thanos. Surly people know that the Avengers are responsible for bringing people back and the gigantic battle against Thanos’ army that would definitely have media overage. They could mix that with the fact that Spider-Man is with the Avengers. Whatever though. That stuff will happen in this universe. At least we get JJJ.
I don’t buy those spoilers one bit. I’ve never read so many spoilers for a film that contradict each other. Geez I just want to watch the film already
Haha yeah, I wouldn't be too surprised with Spider-Man being painted as a villain by Mysterio in the end though. I believe that's how Mysterio was introduced to the comics in the 60s - he tried to appear like a hero by framing Spider-Man
If the rumor about the actor playing Norman is true then that is fucking awesome. Probably my favorite thing i've heard so far regarding this film next to Jake as Mysterio. I think it'd be an awesome casting for a pretty diverse actor imho.
No Norman. The actual after credit scenes are 1) JK Simmons reprising his role as J Jonah Jameson and revealing Peter’s identity with a video that Mysterio sent him 2) Talos and another Skrull reveal that they were Fury and Maria Hill during the entire film and that the real Fury and Hill are on vacation.
