How do a 30 year old and a 56 year old test for the same role

Is it Jessica Drew or Gwen Stacy?

 

General consensus is Jessica Drew, but we don’t know for sure. Gwen Stacy seems pretty unlikely imo.

I'd just love some Spider-Gwen in the MCU that's all lol

 

Yeah Spider-Gwen/Ghost-Spider in the MCU would be a lot of fun— but I'm also really hoping for Jessica Drew and will be disappointed if that's not the route they go. Jessica's so much fun in the comics and provides a different skillset/powerset that I think would be a welcome addition alongside Spidey. Plus Jessica + Carol in the films would be a whole lot of fun.

 

When they inevitably do a “Tom Holland’s Spidey goes to college” trilogy, I’m sure they’ll bring in Gwen Stacy. And, I wouldn’t be surprised if they put a lot of Spider-Gwen influence into her, considering how little 60s Gwen had to offer much of the time. An amalgam of those two versions and maybe even the Ultimate version would be a fun character.

 

I want Jessica Drew Spider-Woman and for them to adapt the run where she reforms and starts a relationship with the Porcupine, because it was adorable and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.

 

Fuck that "ghost spider" shit tho lol, if miles is spider-man she's spider-woman

you mean the one where she's killed by carnage and comes back as a clone? hope not

 

An amalgam of aspects of each version, lol, geez. You’re forgetting how stylish and badass she was.



It’s cool that Bombshell got to follow Miles to 616, but I miss Ultimate Cloak, Dagger, Jessica, Gwen, etc. If I were a comic writer with a toe in at Marvel, my dream pitch would use bits of that MM:USM cast mixed with the best characters from Ultimate X-Men (which was bad more often than good, but is super nostalgic with some highs worth revisiting).

 

I thought Ultimate Gwen being Ultimate Carnage was actually pretty cool and an interesting turn for both characters.

 

I liked Gwen's character in USM, but I never liked the carnage twist
