I was going to say that she looks too old for the role but I'm now learning I'm actually older than she is and that's sending me into a tailspin.

I think that’s RPK speculating and wanting to sound like he knows.

Why wouldn’t Sony want Spider-Man to be in one of the biggest Marvel films right before his solo film?

It’s more realistic that, just like Renner and Rudd not being in Infinity War, Doomsday simply isn’t part of Peter’s story. He has something else going on.

Internet: How are they gonna fit all these characters?

Also internet: How could they leave that character out of the movie?

To be fair, Sneider throws shit at the wall to sound like he knows too. It was his whole schtick long before any of these leakers were a thing. And both villain rumors are from him, so their word is worth about the same to me. Which is pretty much nothing, but decent talking points at least.

Supposedly DDC only agreed to be the director if they dropped the multiverse stuff from the story.

I’ve been watching this channel for film updates for a while. In this video he goes over what “supposedly” DDC agreed to

Wayyy more exciting than how dull Watts' movies looked!

Say what you will about Marvel's choices this saga, but the fact that we ended up with Watts off of F4 and DDC on SM4 is a blessing

I didn’t mind Watts’ direction, but after 3 films I want something new at the table. Plus the fight choreographer for Shang-Chi supposedly working on this film is also good. I want to see some great fighting from Spider-Man. Something I feel like we didn’t get much of in the Home trilogy aside from the GG fights in No Way Home.

One of the fight choreographers from Shang-Chi is back for this.

Brad Allen, the main choreographer for Shang-Chi, passed away shortly before it was released, but I think the fights in this will be similar.

DDC just becomes an even better choice the more you think about it. This movie is gonna rule no matter what it is

Aside from the fights, DDC should deliver some great Peter scenes as well.

Highly recommend everyone watch Short Term 12 if you want to see what DDC can really do

I mean, comparing Marc Webb's Spider-Man movies from over a decade ago to Watt's films, it's a night and day difference. As flawed as those movies are, they were beautiful (aside from Electro lol)

I love the trilogy, but I get it. Watts' movies are kind of just bland. And that's nothing to do with the quality of the movies, they just lack seasoning or something to make them pop.

edit: very paint by numbers directing is how I'd put it.

Not only were the Garfield movies visually satisfying, but Spider-Man just did more interesting, creative stuff and acrobatics imo. His scene crawling around Lizard's body in the school while wrapping him in webbing like a real spider was cool as fuck
