    So with Ned and MJ saying "final semester at MIT", this is obviously a few years after No Way Home. Didn't realize we'd be all but skipping the college years entirely. I think that's really interesting for Peter's character to have spent that much time alone.

    I actually feel like it's a mistake to just gloss over college like that. Feels like it could easily have been mined for interesting material, but maybe they felt we already covered that enough with the previous Spider-Men?

    You also have Spider-man in Secret Wars, which will immediately follow the events of Doomsday (2028). Marvel probably wanted to bring the character as close to 2028 as possible.

    No Way Home was 2024 so being almost our of school does line up with 2028 and Doomsday stuff.
