I saw something online about how Mike Colter has his "Luke Cage beard" again with people assuming he's back. Finn Jones is always asked loads of questions about returning too and his answers are always vague.

I have everything crossed they return because I love the Netflix era. I want Colleen Wing and Misty Knight back too!

 

Lots of rumors about Claire Temple in this film.

Hope it's true, we need everyone back.

Didn't know (or forgot) Colter all but confirmed his return though, that's exciting! Not surprised, but cool to hear.

 

I would be VERY happy with this return.

 

It looks good, but who is the villain? I think I saw scorpion briefly, but I feel like the series could use a great villain right now.

 

feels like we're getting a good ole rogues gallery show down at the very least but i dont think any of them are the main villains.

If they keep expanding this Marvel New York as an ongoing storytelling setting for both Disney+ (which I don’t use/watch) and movies, then I’d love to see Misty and Colleen return. They’d be more exciting than most of the Netflix characters, tbh.

If this approach to New York continues for other Spidey movies, would be down to see them, Daredevil, and Echo (whose stuff I haven’t watched, but she seems cool). And, I think Cloak and Dagger would fit nicely. Though, as much as I love just having a big supporting cast in a fully-realized-world kinda way, there’s only so much you can fit.

Hopefully no Danny. If we need an Iron Fist, idk, do that newer one, what’s his name.

 

Nah, needs Danny. Gotta resolve his plotline.

 

Sometimes it’s ok for an eight-year-old plotline from a broadly poorly received series to not be fully resolved.

Maybe some show or movie will do something Iron Fist adjacent and vaguely hint at whatever happened between them and now. But at a certain point it’s best to just move on.

 

(The end of Kraven the Hunter does need followed up on, though. As does Knull.)

It’ll surely never happen. But, casually hand waving the specifics and dropping him in as this universe’s Chameleon would be really fun, imo! Wouldn’t be the first actor to be in more than one version of this world.

Since Tom pushed for Kraven at one point, I also wouldn’t mind ATJ, but that seems significantly less likely for multiple reasons. Alas, lol.

Or do you mean more specifically me wishing that for you? Like I don't care if they make a follow up to Kraven or if they use him in a Spidey film. Why would I? If it turns out good.

 

I think it’s ok for people to sometimes not get things that they want (that aren’t actual important, human dignity type shit, of course). I believe in people finding joy, but that doesn’t mean “getting fed every kind of silly piece of entertainment I’d like to get,” lol.

 

Why though? If someone wants to make it, why care if it gets made? Seems weird to be so negative about that.
