My money is on Jean being that she will also be in Secret Wars

 

If I was a betting man, I’d say Jean, but I don’t have any stock in anyone that’s been rumored to, so I’ll be fine with whatever.

 

I mean, no it doesn't concern me about how the movie will be lol I'm just antsy to see how it'll look

 

I'll be surprised if Sadie actually plays Jean tbh.

 

I was rooting for Firestar, which somehow never became a popular theory. And, I really believed that the weird theory that she’d be Shathra could have merit. But, at this point I’m pretty Jean-pilled.

Jean’s a great character, so I’m into that happening. Would be fun to see her as the POV entry point in a rebooted X-Men. (Now we just need her to shrug and tell Iceman he’s gay.)

 

Oh don't get me wrong, I'll be stoked if it is her. I think Sadie is a great actor so I'd be really happy with that casting

 

I’m most excited for the fight scenes since Daniel directed this. Should be better than the Watts fighting. Also how the punisher and Peter will interact with each other.

Really, really, really hope DDC makes this one feel distinctly different than the trilogy

 

I lied and already saw the two little clips released. Based on a total of maybe 3 seconds of footage it does look visually very different than the other 3.

 

lol, they’re doing such a good job of weaponizing & gamifying hunger for information about this movie.

Look forward to seeing an actual trailer tomorrow or whenever.

Also this may be one of the best MCU trailers they've ever done which shocks me. It just legitimately looks the best Spiderman has ever looked.

Not totally on top of all of the comic lore, but doesn’t this basically mean Peter is a mutant now?

Common DDC win, no biggie

 

After a couple Spider-Man films in a row that looked cheap and plastic, like a glorified tv show, it’s so nice to have a trailer that clears the low bar of “looks like a movie.”

Lots of very Spider-Man-y shit, enough to make me actively excited (even though I still don’t really know what the movie is about).
