Sadie is Jean Grey? They easily could be doing a fake out of her as a villain then teaming up with Spidey or something.

Oh that's just what I heard online, I have no idea. That's why I'm asking. There seems to be so many rumors. She's either Jean Grey or someone called Shathra or Tobey's spidey's daughter? There's just so much speculation.

I would assume they would want her to be a big, long standing role with her popularity and age.

Someone said the mind control hints she says in the trailer leads to Jean Grey.

 

Gotcha! Yeah I've mostly heard Shathra as the most likely one based on sources of the leaks/rumors, but some are starting to wonder if that was a purposeful plant for a bait and switch. I've heard theories of Mystique as well, but I'm not sure I'm buying that.

 

I still lean towards the Shathra theory. At one point recently, I thought Mayday Parker was maybe the second most likely option, but now I’m leaning away from that.

The alternate theory I like most is that she’s a mutant that Damage Control is after, but I don’t think I quite buy Jean Grey as the most likely candidate. Part of me is still rooting for it being Firestar.
Hopefully it’s not a “secret” they want to save for the movie’s release, ‘cause the guessing game is annoying. (And my stupid brain unfortunately cares this time.) Revealing when the finished teaser officially releases, or with the second trailer at least, would be nice.

Some more hints at Sadie Sink's character and Tramell Tillman's character.

According to sources, the DODC have expanded their search beyond the usual superheroes we have seen in movies and shows and have actually begun taking in individuals who have shown superhuman or meta abilities behind the scenes. These individuals are being placed in the Damage Control Supermax Prison, where they can be monitored and even experimented on without any jurisdiction or oversight.

According to sources, Tillman has been tapped to portray the new head of the Department of Damage Control. His role in the movie will be to lead an investigation by the DODC to apprehend a new rogue metahuman they have been keeping an eye on for a while; the character in question is being portrayed by Sadie Sink.

Sink’s character will be under the protection of Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle, which will make him a person of interest in the DODC’s investigation as well, along with Bruce Banner and Spider-Man. Sources have also been able to confirm that the nature of Tillman’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is not a one-and-done portrayal and that he is expected to return in future Marvel Studios’ projects, taking on a more prominent role in the next saga of the MCU: The Mutant Saga.

Sounds like Sadie Sink will be playing a mutant, potentially a future X-men.

Today is the first time I noticed Doomsday and Dune 3 are releasing on the same day.

I’m only interested in one of those two at this moment in time, and it’s not the one with Steve Rogers.

 

Won't you feel like a fool when Steve Rogers becomes the new Muad'Dib.

 

Hopefully if claire temple does return it’s for a scene when punisher carries Spiderman into a hospital and demands for a doctor to help like from the civil war comic

 

I think Dune will be at a disadvantage if it doesn’t move because I don’t see Warner Bros getting a lot of IMAX screens. Theaters will probably give a large portion of them to Disney.

 

There’s no way they release those both on the same day. I would bet WB is waiting for a spot to open so they can move it up or move it back.

 

It probably balances out because Dune is the last part of a successful trilogy from a respected director and Doomsday is unfortunately admittedly Disney and Marvel's hail mary.

 

But we'll miss the opportunity to call it Dunesday.
