If Tombstone is in this, he should be played by an albino black man. My pick is still his Spider-Verse voice actor, Marvin Jones III, who supposedly has gotten close to playing him in live action before.

On the Tombstone note, maybe he could be Robbie Robertson? He could be just a bit younger than I’d go for the character, but could work. He’d be a good inclusion, especially if Tombstone were to be here in a prominent role.

While they’re not ready for Miles yet, I do like the idea of getting his dad into this world as a cop before they get to Miles himself (like how they already have his uncle). And if they do, I hope they call him Jefferson Morales instead of Jefferson Davis, lol; Bendis what were you thinking???

Iirc they die in a plane crash after fleeing because Oscorp wanted to use the Venom suit as a weapon when it was meant to cure cancer or something? I think Bendis later clarified they were just injured by the Hulk

 

That sounds equally likely to be a bad fan theory inspired by out of context comic panels, or a very Marvel Studios style “complication” to toss onto these characters, lol. Not the most attractive idea on face value, but also, it could be either bullshit or something that works in context, so idk, whatever.

Anyways. Very glad Tombstone is confirmed with the actor I thought it should be. Still hoping Hulk is Joe Fixit here, and curious what else is tossed into the mix.

Tbh I'm not sure, I don't think I read Ultimate Origins, I'm just going off what I read in the Venom arc and what I googled on Origins . That was news to me until I saw your post

 

No, I Googled it, you were right. I just misinterpreted the significance of that scene. I thought they were suggesting way more than they did, I guess, although now I want to look the comic back up to verify.

All I'll say is if this is true, then I agree with Ryan that it's a bizarre choice. I've honestly never even heard of this villain and upon looking them up, Morlun is like right there and is more known.

I could swear I remember someone back in June saying fans will be disappointed with her role, but I can’t find it. It does seem very left field, but I’ll wait to see what exactly DDC has planned
