So multiverse or street-level?

 

I'm still hoping this ends up being a street-level film with Daredevil and Kingpin now that we know Kull wasn't setting up SM4

 

I could definitely see it being a combo of both. The 3 Spider-Men and Daredevil vs. Kingpin, where Kingpin is Baron of one of Battleworld’s domains.

I can't see this being street level when it's releasing between Avengers movies, especially when Spider-Man is still rumored to be the lead for Doomsday

 

Love Tobey and Andrew but I reaaaally don't want to see them in a movie with Tom again until Secret Wars

What if it's a team-up with Shang-Chi?

 

Captain Marvel will probably cameo due to Cretton directing.

 

Huh? Why? Am I missing something?

 

DDC has directed a couple movies starring Brie Larson. Everyone had the same prediction for Shang-Chi.

 

Oh.

 

With Knull seemingly not being the main villain here and Shang-Chi 2 no longer part of the multiverse saga, I wonder if DDC is bringing some of his Shang-Chi 2 plans to this film. Instead of Shang-Chi and the Wreckage of Time, we get Spider-Man and the Wreckage of Time.

It’s also releasing after Doomsday, and new rumors suggest it will serve as a sequel to it. Shang-Chi 2 was similarly rumored to connect directly to Kang Dynasty. Just swap out Kang connections with Doom, and shift Shang-Chi’s role to a supporting arc.

Could definitely lead to some clarity as to why Marvel wanted DDC and why DDC accepted the offer.

 

All I know is DDC is an improvement over Watts

 

I would probably be more excited if it didn't feature multiversal elements and only had one villain

Not really though. He made the choice because otherwise the multiverse was going to fall apart.

I mean after. He promised them he'd find them and help them remember. He chose not to do that. He unilaterally made a decision for them even after he promised not to do that, because he hasn't learned his lesson.
