Many are thinking they timed the announcement now to have some level of Sony Spider-Man goodwill after the Kraven bomb this weekend.

 

I still don't know why they thought anyone would care about fucking Kraven

the Venom movies caused Sony to waste almost as much money as they got from them

 

They got so lucky that Venom is so popular... Those movies could have been so much better in more competent hands.

And, y'know... Actually have Spider-Man in them and give him a big white spider on his chest and web swinging

Yeah, from those videos making the rounds of him basically hitting on Hailee Steinfeld during their press rounds to that photo and caption with Laura, Shameik seems like he really needs to cool it because that is some uncomfortable behavior.

Also, absolutely not the point and it’s totally within her right to call him out, but doing it while slurping broth is grating.

 

Apparently Beyond the Spider-Verse will be announced to release June 2027 at cinemacon tonight

Still a shorter gap than what was between ITSV and ATSV. A win is a win

 

not entirely considering how these two films supposed to be directly tied to each other
