I've only been a passive listener of this group but every time I see anything related to them I marvel at how great their band name is.

Yeah this is going to be awesome! Although I do have a place in my heart that misses the bombastic sounds of Major Arcana and the earlier eps

Only a few songs in but it is thankfully better than their last effort. It's also way more accessible than I expected.

I wasn't a fan of the singles when they came out, but I'm really liking this as a whole. Perfect timing for release, weather-wise. I always associate this band with warm weather (bordering on hazy/sticky) and summertime.

This record is a nice progression from foil deer

 

I wasn't too sure about the singles whie watching the videos but they sound a lot better while just listening. The weirdness of the videos might have been too distracting or something? Haha.
