really glad I got to see them once, it was such a great show

 

Yeah, I hadn’t heard about the break-up either. I hate to hear it.

I remember a couple years back I was planning to see a friend up in Bellingham, WA (I live in GA), and scheduled it so that I could see them and Great Grandpa play a show together, only for Special Explosion to drop off the bill, like, the day before. Great show, but I’ll always be a little bummed about not getting to see them. At least we’ve got this album!

 

fuuuuck, i didn't realize they broke up!! that's a huge bummer

but yeah, i totally understand the hesitation, it is a risk. i feel like 250 could work, there's gotta be that many people who loved that album enough to get an LP for it!
