Neither can I, haha. I love everything they've done and had no idea this was in the works. By the descriptions here, this sounds different/potentially even better.
I was in an extremely shitty mood while giving this my first listen and I still really enjoyed it so yeah, that's a sign it's very good.
After 4 listens “fire” is my favorite but the first 5 songs are incredible. Gladiator is different and it’s my least favorite but I still think it’s good. The closer is really good too. Don’t see how this doesn’t land in my top 10 of the year now
i need to figure out how aggressive i want to be with my placement of this. it's always hard when you haven't listened to a record for very long
it's pretty but isn't doing a whole lot for me on first listen, definitely going to keep it in rotation tho
ya this is not my thing at all. Probably why I also don't fuck with Foxing or Copeland or those bands at all either. Fire is cool
Listening now, the first two songs are good, the rest isn’t really grabbing me, but this seems like something I need to give repeated listens
Only a little of the way through it but it seems like the kind of album that gets better with time. I like it a lot so far though. Cats is the best of the few songs I've heard so far. Really enjoying the instrumentation on Going My Way. The warm ambience is probably my favorite part of the album so far.
I also think this will be a grower for some people, I found that I was liking it more and more on each listen.
