woah, this fucking rules. "Fire" made me say "holy shit" out loud with headphones in at work pretty loud so there's that.

 

I really enjoyed the drums on this album, subtle stuff but it was creative and really worked for the songs.. also the production overall gets an A+ from me

 

i think that an album like this really needs good production. it suits the songs well and the mix is real good, all the instruments are well heard. layers come out nice, stuff feels up front when it needs to be buried when it should be. now i need to give this at least a week before putting my list out to see where it sits ha.

 

glad I didn't release/finish my EOTY list yet haha

 

on my second listen, going my way is my favorite i think

can't really say a favorite through just one listen, i do like the front half better than the back half though fire is a masterpiece

also was at work and had shifting attention haha

 

this record is incredibly beautiful, so glad i'm discovering this band wow

 

excited that everyone is jumping on this and the hype is real!!!

 

I think the way the record closes is beautiful as well

i disagree with all "fire is not the best song ever" takes in here

 

this is very Transatlanticism to me in a lot of ways

Still havent listened and probs wont till tomorrow but curious, how is the vocal production on this? Fire had the vox pretty high in the mix when i first heard it

 

I already find the first song on here like a hundred times better than "Fire" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

fuck i love this band and am very pleasntly surprised to discover that this is coming out today, what the fuck

i think i'm just going to wait until 11:15 (after saturation 3), don't ask me why, i guess i just want some time to anticipate before listening. v excited based on the response here

 

fire is one of the best songs ive ever heard.
