I wish all releases were surprises, best feeling waiting less than a week for something you know you're going to love
I’ve honestly never heard of this band until now so thanks for posting. Great track. It looks like they have a bunch of releases so I have some listening to do
so, heres my first impressions, and bear in mind i never listened to the art of mothering so this is my first experience with this band, really it could just be bc i just saw foxing, but this reminds me a lot of dealer, but with maybe more pop elements? i know everyone here is big on fire, but that song is probably in the bottom half of the record for me personally. its still v good. wasnt entirely sure what to expect, but theres a lot of piano on this record, a lot of slow builds (which i like); someone was asking in the copeland thread for recommendations of warm albums, and i think this fits that description. wet dream is a beautiful opener, and that, skeletons, and waterfalls are my three favorites, but i feel like a lot of people might disagree with me about that last one now im gonna tag @cwhit bc i know hes curious
the dynamics of this thing are so good. lots of build ups with perfect releases and some amazing guitar interplay getting a lot of from indian lakes vibes too
