umm its def 2002 haha i don't know if I like it but its fits that genre well and I would give a full length a listen
After a second listen it's still a little boring. They got the whole early 00's post hardcore thing going, but this song has failed to make it interesting. I'll wait for more.
Song is kinda boring. Hoping some of the other stuff has some of those classic hooks he can write. Overall, I think Still Searching might be the best thing he's ever done.
Perhaps they will tour with Branden Steineckert and Quinn Allman's (formerly the Used) new project next year.
I have no idea when it will be formerly announced since Branden had the broken arm and is also doing Rancid. It sounds like a cool fit if you throw in a cool headliner.
This song being released and then Nate releasing Finch stuff really just makes me see how much more I like Nate as a vocalist lmao Song is kind of basic
The riff is kind of cool I'll give them that, song sounds very insincere almost like a band covering post hardcore or something
Pretty much what I came in here to say. That guitar is neat but I don't care for any of the other elements.
"Crash Your Car" is up on Apple Music/Spotify. Looks like the second track on the self-titled 7" is entitled "Go For The Throat".
Per an interview Buddy did it's supposed to be heavier/more aggressive. I'm guessing early Senses Fail heavy, not like the more recent stuff.
The song did accomplish what Buddy had described. I've listened to From the Depths of Dreams, Let it Enfold You and Still Searching a lot since the song was released
I can't even hardly listen to Let It Enfold You anymore. I used to love that record, but after Still Searching came out, LIEY just sounded really "whiny" in a way. Buddy's much improved vocals has a lot to do with it also.
Didn't they play some live shows? Did anyone go? I'm wondering if they played any SF or Finch songs since they can't have much of their own stuff.
