New band with Buddy from Senses Fail on vocals, and members of Finch. The clips sound really intriguing so far, and I feel like this band will incite a lot of nostalgia when they release the record. Anyone else interested/excited?
I'm always excited for anything Buddy does, even if I didn't like Thorns all that much. Senses Fail instrumental wise has been top notch for their last 5 albums so even though I love Finch, I can't help thinking it'll just be SF lite.
That'd be nice. I'm sure I'll at least like it. I've enjoyed all 3 Finch albums and their acoustic one.
I'm really liking what I can hear in the vids they posted on Facebook. First single to be released on October 18th according to the newest video.
Been excited about this project for a while. Though I do wish Finch would get back together and write more music.
Appears I was wrong. New song is due Wednesday, October 19th. Preorders for a limited 7in also go up that day with a digital realease early November, and the physical realease in January. EP being released through Bad Timing Records.
I'm definitely interested in this, totally forgot about it! I'd love some nostalgic 2000's post-hardcore from these guys.
You guys want poppy singing Buddy, hardcore screaming Buddy or a mix? I personally like heavy Buddy vox the most but I don't think that fits with the 2002 sound they said they'll have.
I'm thinking his vocals will lean more towards the melodic side if this is really going for that old Senses Fail and Finch sound.
Nice. Hoping I can get one of the 7"s. Very cool that's Bad Timing Records is managing this release. They always do a great job with their releases.
I think so too, but I can see this going the way of a lot of singing. The more poppy songs off the Ep were good though so if they went that route and did songs like Irish Eyes that had a little screaming but was catchy as hell.....I'll love it!
Looks like it's gonna be more clean singing from this little snippet... I'm interested to hear this one.
Pre-order is up and new song, "Crash My Car" is streaming on AltPress: Speak The Truth release first music, and it really “sounds like 2002” (exclusive) - Features - Alternative Press
Same, in part because I finally decided I wanted to get the new All Get Out on vinyl, and a copy of Park's Jacob the Rabbit from their sale.
